Creativity Flows!

Hi all,
Just me again checking in since the trip to London :)
Hmm, what have I been doing... well, as part of this VM project I'm undertaking, I need to focus on trend research and forecasting a lot. So, I have looked at one of the most directional, influential trend forecasting websites, cosmoworlds.com/trends, and used the info I found to create these super-cool and stylish Autumn/Winter 2010/2011 trends:

Look great don't they! I was very pleased with these trend moodboards and feel they definately portray the feel and emotion of each style.

After researching these, I had to create a new trend of my own for Autumn/Winter 2010/2011, for my favourite fashion retailer. I chose the Spanish brand, Bershka.
For this I had to research Bershka's branding, graphics and general look. Here's what I came up with:


And my trend, namely, a'Tiempo, which is Spanish for 'to weather' or 'to time', is portrayed like this:

So yes, I have been very busy indeed and enjoyed putting these mood boards together immensely. It enabled me to dig deeper into the industry of trend forecasting and how our current and past trends will determine future ones. It's an exciting, fast-paced world and I feel privileged to be able to delve into deeper into it.
